UST Growling Tigers

The UST Growling Tigers and Tigresses are the college athletic teams representing the University of Santo Tomas in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. They hold the most UAAP Overall Championships with 45 Seniors' Overall Championships (out of 74 seasons) and 21 Juniors' Overall Championships (out of 26 seasons).

UST is one of four member universities that participate in all 15 sporting events of the league. They also take part in various sports leagues such as the Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup, the Premier Volleyball League and the UNIGAMES.

Fotbalový tým Filipín "UST Growling Tigers" je univerzitní tým, který reprezentuje University of Santo Tomas v univerzitních fotbalových soutěžích na Filipínách. Tým soutěží v University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). Založen byl v roce 1922 a od té doby je jednou z nejúspěšnějších univerzitních fotbalových programů na Filipínách. Growling Tigers vyhráli celkem 14 UAAP mistrovských titulů, což je druhé nejvyšší (za Ateneo de Manila University). Jsou také držiteli rekordu v nejdelším vítězném rekordu v UAAP se 14 po sobě jdoucími vítězstvími v letech 1926 až 1939. Growling Tigers jsou známí svým rychlým útočným stylem hry a byli tradičně silou v UAAP. V posledních letech tým zaznamenal určitý úpadek, ale nadále zůstává jedním z nejkonkurenceschopnějších týmů v lize.
