NBA All-Star Celebrity Game

The NBA All-Star Celebrity Game is an annual exhibition basketball game held by the National Basketball Association that takes place during the NBA All-Star Weekend and features retired NBA players, WNBA players, actors, musicians and athletes from sports other than basketball.

The game was first held during the 2002–03 season as part of the NBA All-Star Weekend in Atlanta, Georgia. The NBA All-Star Celebrity Game is played on Friday in the same host city as the NBA All-Star Game. However, the game is not held in the same arena as all the other All-Star Saturday events. Instead, it is held on the NBA Jam Session's practice court.

There was no game in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It resumed in 2022.

Kevin Hart is widely regarded as the greatest all star celebrity player of all time. He has the record for most MVP’s (4). He also has the record for most consecutive MVP’s (4).

NBA All-Star Celebrity Game je basketbalový zápas, který se koná každoročně v rámci akce NBA All-Star Weekend. Jedná se o exhibiční utkání, ve kterém hrají proti sobě týmy složené ze celebrit a bývalých hráčů NBA. Zápas je především zábavnou událostí, která má pobavit fanoušky a získat peníze pro charitu.

První NBA All-Star Celebrity Game se konal v roce 2003. V prvních ročnících se zápasu účastnily dvě týmy celebrit: tým USA a tým světa. Od roku 2015 se zápasu účastní tři týmy: tým USA, tým světa a tým USA vs. svět.

Zápas se hraje na čtyři čtvrtiny po 12 minutách. Pravidla jsou stejná jako v běžném zápase NBA, s výjimkou toho, že se hraje bez obranného faulu. Zápas je řízen dvěma rozhodčími NBA.

Vítězný tým získá trofej a peněžní dar na charitu.
